The ending was a tad treacly but I still loved it. Now I'm reading "Lunch in Paris: A Love Story, with Recipes" by Elizabeth Bard.<br /><br />Oh, and with regards to your question about whether you should read Earlene Fowler's Benni Harper series in order: Yes. I would highly recommend it.
