Am I the only person in North America who has not jumped head over heels for that series yet? ;) As for Sir Fartsalot ... I giggled in several parts that my boys read to me. Check out www.sirfartsalot.com. :)

Coffeetime -- I'm glad you're loving "Rivals for the Crown". I'm sure you'll adore "On a Highland Shore" which I found more romantic. It's nice when a book is an easy, light read.

Beth -- Glad to hear "Thin, Rich, Pretty" was good. I also have to start reading the whole Larrson trilogy too. Maybe once the kids are back at school? So many books, so little time. I love it!Laurie@The Baking Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678146631438774221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648528809470059310.post-38907538239146385602010-08-25T19:59:05.798-04:002010-08-25T19:59:05.798-04:00Finished both The Girl Who Played With Fire (fabul...Finished both The Girl Who Played With Fire (fabulous!!!) and Thin, Rich, Pretty (nice light read). Now I'm going to start on the new Gail Bowen mystery (really good Canadian mystery series) and after that I'll read the new Evanovich. I had so many books waiting for me at work yesterday that I needed two trips to bring them all up to the condo!

FYI: I would definitely suggest you read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo before you read The Girl who Played with Fire as the entire plot hinges on what happened in the first book. I would not have enjoyed the second as much as I did if I had not read the first beforehand.Bethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648528809470059310.post-12411700653562657912010-08-25T17:16:42.794-04:002010-08-25T17:16:42.794-04:00I have not read On A Highland Shore.I have it comi...I have not read On A Highland Shore.I have it coming at the library.I am halfway through Rivals For The Crown good book. Was cooking dinner last night and reading at the same time.Coffeetimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02429253954764839813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648528809470059310.post-1901043805170848032010-08-25T07:20:13.145-04:002010-08-25T07:20:13.145-04:00I am also reading Eat, Pray, Love and not loving i...I am also reading Eat, Pray, Love and not loving it but not hating it either. I'd not heard of Sir Fartsalot before, but now that I have I'm sure I'll remember him. (Sorry, can't keep from laughing at that name!)

I'm reading "Curse of the Wolf Girl". It's definitely meh, but I need to whittle down my pile of ARCs so I'll stick with it.

My copy of "Mockingjay" shipped on Monday. Now I'm just waiting for the postal service to deliver. How come they bring my bills promptly but drag their feet when they have an Amazon box?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648528809470059310.post-56496710830476000672010-08-24T22:15:09.624-04:002010-08-24T22:15:09.624-04:00I am currently reading Eat Pray Love, not loving i...I am currently reading Eat Pray Love, not loving it, but not hating it by far!
